T he friends of the HUNLEY are being sued. The Greenville, S.C., retiree is suing the caretakers of the submarine H.L.  HUNLEY because they wanted to disclose the state's open-record laws. The judge will determine if the Friends of the HUNLEY will get sued.  The case will go unclear. A attorney from the Press Association in South Carolina said" That the Friends of the HUNLEY  probably will have to comply with Sloan's request.   

The HUNLEY sank February 17,1864.  The HUNLEY was raised in the summer of last year. It sank after it ramming the huge Union blockade Housatonic off  of Charleston.
