| Rainbow-row is a very colorful place downtown. IT IS VERY BEAUTIFUL AND BIG. These pictures were painted by betty Condon. one of Charleston's artist. she was raised in Columbia, Ohio. Then she fell in love with a southern boy. He took her to Charleston, South Carolina in 1970. She started studying acrylics. She also mastered it too. She soon had children, but her children demanded almost all of her time. When her children did that she gave up painting for ten years. After her children were in high school, she took a watercolor class. After that she began to paint again. Her has been exhibited at the Piccolo Spoleto Art Festival in Charleston, S.C., the Azalea Festival in Summerville, S.C., and the channel 2 Art Show in Mount Pleasant, S.C. In private and public collections her painting are there around the world. |
