The Huguenot church

44 Queen Street

This church is very special because it is the only French Huguenot church that exists in America today. The Huguenots were the French protestants from the reformation.  The church was the first to be built in a gothic style and was nearly destroyed by the Revolutionary war and then the great earthquake in 1886.  It was restored in 1997 and includes one of the rarest organs in the country.
