New Charleston Lighthouse

The New Charleston Lighthouse is on Sullivan's Island. It was built in 1962 and is the only lighthouse in The United States with an elevator. It is 161 feet tall and triangular shaped. It is maintained by the US Coast Guard and tours are available by calling the coast guard station in Charleston.
