This is the map of the Star Fort.

     At Ninety-Six the Loyalist built a fort shaped like a star. They use  this shape so that the fort would be hard into and easy for them to defend .A Loyalist would stand on each side of the Star Fort so that if a Patriot would try to come up and attack the Loyalist could shoot at a lot  of directions. The Patriot built a tower to try to get over the Star Fort.  In the Star Fort there was a well the Loyalists drank out of. The Star Fort map tells you about the Star Fort. Do you know why the Star Fort is so big? The Star Fort is so big because there were a lot of Loyalists in the Star Fort.

     The well was about 30 feet deep. The Loyalistsdug the well to find water. They dug it because the Patriots closed up the creek. They never found water in the well.

     There is an old house at the Ninety- Six site. It is made out of logs and has two stories. The stove is outside the house so that the house won't catch on fire.

                         The Brick
     The brick was from the old jail. It was a small jail. I do not know why it was a small 
jail. Maybe there weren't to many people
that  did bad things. The brick was broken in half.
